Star Clippers Transatlantic Cruises
Star Clipper cruises aren't the same as a voyage on a huge mega-ship. These sailing ships are much smaller and they only carry a couple hundred passengers. Cabins aren't as large or fancy as on the big ships, although deluxe suites are available on the Royal Clipper. You can choose to lend a hand hoisting the sails, you can climb the mast, or you can just lay back and let the crew do all the work. Read a Royal Clipper cruise review.
The Royal Clipper is the largest sailing ship built since the beginning of the last century. The 42 sails make it the star of every port. And the Royal Clipper is fully modern, with state of the art navigation systems and every comfort and luxury one could desire. Nightlife on Star Clippers is decidely limited, but passengers enjoy themselves by meeting their fellow travelers. The ships are casual and very relaxed.
